Can i just say one thing... Fuck critics!!!!!! (real critics that people listen to.... not people like me). They rated this movie at around 20% and I just find that completely unjustified. Now I'm not saying that this was a perfect movie.... it was far from it but not ~80% far.
The cinematography in the movie was brilliant and the CG was amazing but the "Inception" like storytelling was kinda a hindrance... not a 20% earning hindrance though.
I think that Zack Snyder accomplished everything he set out to do. It is not a cookie cutter movie that everyone will love but it is a movie that contains at least some novelty.
Few Things I Found
The main character looks like the poster girl for pederasty... they claim shes around 20 in the movie but never try to show it.
Why does the Asian girl have to operate everything mechanical or computer based?
Fat disgusting white guys always play fat disgusting white guys
Never write a movie off if it seems odd the first time... give it another go knowing what you know and see it unfold while you understand everything you found confusing the first time.
Also this would have made one amazing graphic novel...unless it was one originally... if it was the let me know where to buy it!!!

Californication
This show makes me want to move to LA and become a tortured writer. Hank Moody (David Duchovny) just seems to be the coolest guy in the world. He's just a guy trying to keep his life and family together while his own inner demons just turn him towards every bad decision. While being sexy as all hell.
So he writes a book and a finds stardom from it then he moves to LA with his family and then life starts to fall a part. His wife leaves him and he struggles to keep being to be a father but to honest he is a shitty father and husband but maintains being awesome person. He is a total slut of a man who sleeps with at least half of the good looking girls the show up on the show.
What captivates me most about this show is the turn it is taking as season 4 is ending. Somehow Hank manages to make you still root for him even after he is convicted as a child rapist. I know it sounds really bad and hard to believe but the girl (Madeline Zima) was 17 and she looked 23 and ridiculously hot. Well he sleeps with her and the finds out she is the daughter of his ex-wifes new husband and then he writes a book about it and then the girl he slept with steels the book from him gets it published and alot of shit happens and it comes to life that he slept with a minor and then gets convicted for it. That is the basic story of the most current events.
People may come back at me and and say that after everything that happens he is a miserable man who losses his family and had little to nothing to live for. That is all true but one episode of his life is more interesting then than most peoples life times.
I don't know how he keep sane through everything thing that happens but he does and is more broken and stronger for it. Season 4 ends with thing being as good as they can get for Hank witch is just about straddling mediocre. He looses his family and is alone but also has a new movie being made and is not going to have to live the next years of his life as White Power Bill's bitch (Arrested Development Ref).
Driving off in to the sunset I found myself thinking that I hope Hank is going to be OK and this show will get a fifth season.

So if you don't know who Alexandra Wallace is then stop reading and watch the two links at the bottom of this post.
OK so now you have seen it (the original post). If you want to read about how wrong, insensitive, racist, or dumb this girl is it should be easy to find online... just roll through the comments on the youtube post. She probably regrets putting up that post and never thought that it would get seen by so many people. But who cares about this future Poly Sci scholar other then she has inspired hours of people talking about and making fun of her.
The best thing that came of this epic fail of a video blog post? Jimmy Wong. Oh how idiocy can inspire art and comedy. This song is hillariouse and only gets better the more you listen to it. It's a 3 min. lyrical bitchslap to Wallace. The fact that it's Jimmy playing all the instruments and singing just make the whole experience more impressive. And its actually a really good song.

Drive Angry
Nick Cage what happened? Granted I must say that this movie served for a very fun session of mental masturbation…. In the way that it was fun at the time but after you were done you look back and think,. "why did I do that?” This movie is a concoction of big stunts and really stupid people held together by thin threads of weak story.

Milton (Nick Cage) comes out of hell to save his granddaughter because his daughter was in a cult and the leader took her baby because it is a key to some new world order… Oh and along the was Milton
But anyway she kills some stranger with a gardening hoe and then while on the run kills a cop and as cop 1 dies he shoots his partner cop 2. I can understand killing the first random guy, it made sense after seeing what she saw and hearing what she heard in the prior scene but to go as far as to killing a police officer for a guy she’s only known for a couple of hours!!! She was introduces as a strong, smart, and kind character, I mean she gave a poor family, with sad looking kids, free muffins and milk. She did this out of the kindness of her heart and because of this action she gets a groping from her boss and looses her job… now she’s a murderer… makes perfect sense…right?
Any way so the run into some bad guys, Milton gets shot in the face after Jonah King (Billy Burke), the only character with a last name, fills in some plot holes with story that at this point no one cares about and Piper gets taken and driven away in an RV, then Milton wakes up from being dead, kills more people but leaves enough people so they can still chase him when he goes after Piper, his granddaughter, and Jonah...Milton gets Piper back but Jonah gets away with his granddaughter then the car Milton is driving gets shot and ceases to work.
So they meet up with one of Milton's old friends Webster (David Morse) who knows that Milton died... Then Webster, totally unshaken by the fact that he is seeing and talking to a dead man, immediately accepts the entire situation like seeing people coming out of hell is as common place as the sunrise. And good thing he just happened to have 2 mint conditioned muscle cars just sitting around... was this the only reason his character exists? Oh wait Milton and Piper are only taking 1 car... can this mean that the Webster might do something with the other car later in the movie?
Other things happen, more people die, the movie ends with all things resolved and Piper, the girl who is a cop killer and was engaged less then a week ago and is currently unemployed is deemed worthy to raise a child...What a promising future this unnamed child has. Well all good things come to an end and even less then mediocre things do too.
The point of this movie:
Satanists are generally ill informed and easy to kill.
Nick Case is still a bad ass who get to drink a beer out of a skull like he promised.
Demons can be good guys too.
